A sentient ship feeds on conflict. Scheming humans and aliens provide plenty:

• A newly widowed Judge tries to keep the Ship--and her mind--from falling to pieces.

• A security expert, betrayed by the man she's sworn to keep safe, must decide who to fight and who to protect.

• And an alien general wants to restore his people's glory by destroying everyone else.

Picture Babylon 5 if it was created by Akira Kurosawa. Action and aliens, honor and obligation, and the struggles of a few broken people who might change the course of history forever.
